Welcome to the New York City Beekeepers Association, a Hive for the Urban Beekeepers of Gotham City
We are a small group of beekeepers, bee enthusiasts, and honey lovers who live, work and pollinate in the greatest city in the world, and who happen to share a love for the humble honeybee and her delicious doings.
The mission of the NYCBA is to provide our membership with a medium for sharing knowledge and mutual interest in beekeeping, and to educate and promote the benefits of beekeeping to the world, in a forum of friendship and fun, and to do so safely and responsibly in an urban environment.
Whether you are a beekeeper with 10,000 colonies or you just like honey in your tea, you are welcome to join our hive.
Not yet a member? Please join our cluster and help us keep our queen warm, our larva fed, and our hive thriving. $20.00 for the year 2010 helps us maintain our hive (which in our case consists of web hosting, mailings, room rentals, and the cost of shared equipment). Become a member of the colony.
